How a text reaches publication

A draft is work in progress. Pending means the text awaits its check. Approved means that revision has passed its check: for guides, a reading by a human editor; for History articles, the fact check against sources described below. Published means the accepted revision is included in a site release; it is publicly available after that release is deployed.

Drafts and pending texts are not public production previews. Each language is reviewed separately. An AI check, a delivery notification or approval of a topic does not count as a human review of the text, and an article no human has read says so. A substantive change requires another review; a translation must be checked against the current original.

AI assistance and responsibility

AI-generated articles carry a short disclosure below the heading and a full disclosure after the sources once the text has passed its check; both say which check it was. The author line identifies the person responsible for publication. Publication, modification and check dates refer to those events, not to the time the website was built.

History articles

Articles on aviation history are published without a reading by a human editor. First a dossier is assembled: every fact is recorded with its source and a quotation from it. AI writes the text in both languages from the dossier alone. Then a separate AI check tries to refute every number, date, name and quotation in the article against the sources themselves; a claim that could not be checked against a source that opens is removed from the text. The English and Russian versions are compared with each other fact by fact. Such an article says "AI-generated text, facts checked against sources" below its heading, and the fact-check date stands next to the publication date. The first articles of the section, published before this process, were read by an editor and keep their original note.

Facts, examples and corrections

Real aviation claims are supported by external sources, primary ones where possible. Game data and calculations describe Jetopolis, with their versions and assumptions. Estimates are identified as estimates. A simulation result is not an actual airline's financial statement, and a catalog entry does not prove that an aircraft is available in every world.

Send corrections to hello@jetopolis.app, including the page address and the passage concerned. We correct errors after publication too. A correction changes the modification date when it changes the substance; affected translations are reviewed again. A material that no longer meets these requirements can be withdrawn.
