Your account

A sign-in code is the key to your account. Anyone holding it can enter, so do not pass it on.

You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Fair play

Do not automate play, exploit defects instead of reporting them, or attack the service.

We may suspend an account that does, and we will say why.

Images and data

Aircraft illustrations are generated by AI from technical descriptions. They are not photographs of specific aircraft. Airport photographs are shown where their sources have been checked. Airline trademarks are not used anywhere in the game.

Airport data comes from OurAirports, which is in the public domain. Economic series are our own estimates based on public sources and are not investment or financial information.

Where historical airline names are used for game characters, they are used descriptively; no affiliation or endorsement is implied.

Worlds end

A world runs to its final year and then finishes. Results are kept, the world stops.

We may reset or retire a world; we will say so in advance inside the game where we can.

Refunds

Jetopolis is free to play. The optional Captain subscription is paid by card on a Stripe checkout page. Subscription payments are received by Leonid Ustinov, an individual entrepreneur in Thailand; card payments are processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Singapore Pte. Ltd. and Stripe, Inc.), which also emails your receipts. Prices are shown on the subscription page before you pay.

You can cancel at any time on the subscription page in the game: Manage subscription opens the Stripe customer portal. The subscription then runs to the end of the paid period and does not renew.

If a charge was a mistake or Captain did not work for you, write to hello@jetopolis.app within 14 days of the payment and we will refund it in full. Later requests are considered case by case. A refunded payment ends Captain access for that period.

YouTube

Our videos on YouTube are published by our own tool through YouTube API Services. When you watch them, on YouTube or embedded on this site, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. How that tool handles data is described in our privacy policy.

The service is provided as is

The game is free and offered without warranty. We do our best to keep worlds running and data intact, but we cannot promise it.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost progress or lost time.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version appears on this page with a new date at the top. Questions go to hello@jetopolis.app.
